Kaela Meyers has joined Martin E. Friedlander, PC., as an associate. As a law student, Kaela was both a teaching assistant and a research assistant for several professors, inclusive to the Benjamin N. Cardozo Divorce Mediation Clinic and NY Matrimonial drafting class, where she mediated all aspects of divorce. Kaela also served as a research assistant for projects on Sexual Racism and Prenuptial Agreements and was a teaching assistant for the Legal Writing class. Kaela also completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan as a psychology major and with a minor in the Stephen M. Ross School of Business. During her time at the University of Michigan, Kaela was the recipient of the William J. Branstrom Freshman Prize and a member to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society.

Additionally, Kaela held numerous internships and externships where she gained practical experience conducting substantive research concerning marital dissolution, including the nuances of custody cases, the use of financial experts for property distribution, and binding terms of prenuptial agreements. Kaela was the recipient of the Dean's Merit Scholarship and served as the treasurer for the Family Law Society.  Lastly, Kaela is a Part 146. Certified Mediator.
