  • On June 12th the New York County Lawyers Association presented on the complex intersection between the spheres of matrimonial law and immigration law. Together, myself and Michael Wildes, Esq. hosted an interactive question and answer session on the nuanced topic of immigrant status in respect to prenuptial, marriage, separation and divorce agreements. As a matrimonial attorney with over two decades of experience, I have been involved in issues relating to the Hague Convention and Religious “Get” laws. Michael Wildes, Esq. of Wildes & Weinberg, P.C., a leading law firm that covers all areas of U.S. immigration law, has served as a former federal prosecutor with the United States Attorney's Office in Brooklyn and is often featured on professional panels and network television programs with his expert knowledge of immigration law.
  • The dynamic presentation offered insight into the current, sensitive, and delicate matter of legal implications and protections on marriage with a foreign individual.
